A Visit to Sagat Singh Stadium
On 16th of Jan, students of class XI with their class teachers visited Sagat Singh Stadium. The strength of the students was 150. The purpose was to visit the exhibition conducted on Army day i.e. 15th of Jan. That was also open for students of many other schools also on 16th Jan 2020. Students got to know about various equipments of Indian Army: –
- 130 MM M-46 Gun
- Strela 10 M combat vehicle
- BMP II
- Tank T-72 MI AJEYA
- Tank T-90 S/SK BHISMA
- GEN DATA TANK T-72 MI AJEYA
- TECH DATA TANK T-90S/SK
- ZU-23MM 2B GUN
- SARATH
There was also a banner display by Akriti Vidya Bhawan. It had various messages and slogans written by the common people to give tribute to Indian Army.
The students got the opportunity to witness the working mechanism of the equipments which was highly motivating for them.
